Description
Build the run yourself. Choose the post height, the base, the bracing spacing and how many arms you want on each level, and the configurator above prices the bay as you go. This is the double sided light duty version. It is powder coated for indoor use, and suited to lighter, shorter stock than the heavy duty range.
How a bay goes together
- Posts set the height. Arms hook on anywhere up the face and move later.
- One base per post – double sided, so the run stands clear and loads from both faces.
- One bracing set between every pair of posts, matched to the post height and the spacing you choose. A three-bay run takes four posts, four bases and three bracing sets.
- Arms are ordered per face and per level. A double sided run needs them on both sides.
- All nuts, bolts and locking pins are included.
Getting the capacity right
- Arm ratings are per arm, evenly spread. The post and base have their own limits, so a bay total is not the arm rating multiplied out.
- Longer arms reach further but reduce what the bay will safely carry – the trade-off is worth a conversation before you order.
- Once the run is up, fill in a load sign with the capacities for the configuration you actually built.
