Description
Four bolt-on castors that turn a stillage basket into something one person can push. Every castor swivels and every castor has a brake, so the cage turns in its own length and then stays where you put it.
What is in the kit
- 4 × swivel castors, each with a brake
- 16 × M10 × 20 bolts and nuts — four per castor
- Top-plate mounting, bolted through the base of the cage
Where it earns its keep
A loaded stillage normally needs a forklift or a pallet jack to move at all. On castors it becomes a trolley: pick orders straight into the cage and walk it to dispatch, move work between benches, clear a bay without waiting for the forklift to be free. For operations where cages shuttle short distances all day, it removes the machine from the job.
Before you fit them
Castors lift the cage and change how it sits on the floor, so if your cages are normally stacked, talk to us first about how you intend to use them. Kit only — the cage is sold separately.
