Description
A pallet racking upright frame, 4267 mm tall and 1219 mm deep. The frame is the pair of columns and the bracing between them that a bay stands on; beams span between two frames to make the levels. A run of bays needs one more frame than it has bays – three bays take four frames.

Choosing the depth
- Frame depth is the dimension across the aisle. Pallets normally overhang the beams slightly front and back, so the frame is not the same size as the pallet.
- We stock two depths – 838 mm and 1219 mm. This is the 1219 mm frame. Which one suits depends on your pallet size and which way it is loaded, so tell us both and we will confirm it.
- Both depths take the same beams: the beam length sets how wide the bay is, the frame sets how deep.
How much it will carry
- A frame is not rated on its own. What it carries depends on how many beam levels you put in, how far apart they are, the beam length and how the run is braced and anchored.
- We rate the frame for the configuration you are actually building, and the figure goes on the load sign for the run.
- Tell us the pallet weight, how many levels and the beam length and we will confirm it in writing.
