Description

The Expand Series built to be approved: a Class 1A container home in 20, 30 or 40 ft, supplied with our assistance through the whole council approval process.

Everything else in this range is a movable dwelling. This is the one that becomes a permanent building on your title.

Council approval

This is the package built to be approved. The home is constructed to Class 1A standard under the Building Code of Australia, and we walk you through the council approval process from the first form to the final sign-off.

Our standard Expand models are movable dwellings, which is a different route entirely — often no approval, but also not a permanent building. Choose this one when it has to be a permanent, approved dwelling on the title.

Pricing is provisional. What your council asks for, and what your site needs, moves the number. Pick a size for an indicative figure and send us the address for a real one.

Indicative pricing

Size Class 1A build + approval assistance, inc. GST
20 ft $110,000 – $132,000
30 ft $143,000 – $165,000
40 ft $176,000 – $198,000

Provisional. The range covers what different sites and different councils ask for. Choose a size above for the indicative starting price, then send us the address for an accurate quote.

Before you order, ask us

A tiny home is not a shelf — the figures that decide whether it works on your block are the ones specific to your block. Call or send us the address and we will answer these in writing:

  • What your council is likely to require, and how long approval usually takes in your area
  • The footprint closed and expanded, and the access a truck needs to get it onto your block
  • Exactly what is included — kitchen, bathroom, fittings — and what is not
  • Lead time from order, and whether there is stock in Brisbane or Melbourne now
  • Delivery and craneage to your address
  • Site preparation: footings or slab, and how power, water and waste connect
Net weightApprox. 4200 – 4500 KG

  • Good to deal with good communication, one of my shelf inserts came dented but for the price I’ll just cop that still works fine great product great price would recommend. Changed to five stars because they reached out to sort it but it’s a work bench it’s gonna get dented anyway 👍
